Global Pandemic - Quarantine Day 5

Day 5 in our Ecuador quarantine.

So this is kind of a normal morning for us even though it's Day 5 of our quarantine hear in Ecuador. We thought we'd show you what the dogs eat since we've seen a lot of different communication about feeding pugs. Our two pugs both have hip problems. Niele has pretty severe hip dysplasia and has had surgery on his left hip, while Zoey has hip dysplasia as well, but not surgery.

We give both dogs Rimadyl and usually a liquid chondroitin/glucosamine supplement (Tippy Toes Pet Boutique Liquid Glucosamine Chondroitin For Dogs - https://amzn.to/39dLZWV ). We use the liquid because I've had over 25 years in horses and from personal experience feel that the liquid absorbs quicker and is more effective. But there are lots other great products out there. It's really the content of the products that is particularly important in delivery an effective dosage and getting great results. Plus, remember that it normally takes about a month of consistent dosing to see any improvements.

Note: I'm not a vet or a vet assistant. These are personal opinions only from my own experience and the advice of my own veterinarians while I was a professional trainer.

I hope you find this useful and funny. If not, we'd love to hear more about what you'd really like to see and know about traveling and/or living with your dogs worldwide.
